White Lodge in Richmond Park has been the home
of the Lower School since the School's Royal Charter
was granted 50 years ago. Set in an important
18th Century building and landscape, it now needs
significant improvement to provide modern dance,
academic and boarding facilities compliant with government
regulations for up to 125 talented children and residential
staff. The successful completion of this project
will also enable the School to continue to increase
access and create new revenue income streams for
the future.

Support for this exceptional project has been gained
from English Heritage, the Crown Estate, as freeholder,
and the Royal Parks. This enthusiasm to proceed
has been supported by the School's President, HRH
The Prince of Wales. Planning permission has
been approved by the London Borough of Richmond upon
Thames and endorsed by the Greater London Authority.
The Department for Children, Schools
and Families (DCSF) has been very generous in its
support and together with the Department, our many
donors, parents and friends, we have raised more
than 80% of the £22 million we need for this
exciting project. We still have £4 million
to find in order to complete this vital part of
the School's continued development and thanks to
the DCSF's 'Matched Funding' initiative, each private
donation will be matched over the next two years.
White Lodge encourages pride, passion and creativity. Each
contribution will help give us the tools to complete
this unique project, whether it is given towards
the project in general or to one of the funding
opportunities that allow naming rights to donors.
Please make a donation to the White Lodge Redevelopment
Appeal.
